Volunteer Opportunities
Thank you for your interest in volunteering! Below are volunteer roles we have available at this time. Please reach out if there is a role you are interested in that we do not have listed.
There are many daily maintenance tasks needed for our turtle rehab clinic. If you don't mind cleaning and other maintenance tasks and have a day or two to spare a week, we could greatly use the help!
We need help with:
- Preparing food for and feeding aquatic and terrestrial patients and non-releasable ambassadors
- Water change outs for dry-docked patients
- Cleaning and maintenance of aquatic setups
- Deep cleaning and sanitizing enclosures and accessories after releases
At this time we are only looking for coverage on Mondays and Wednesdays. Thank you!
Each year, we receive numerous calls from across the state about injured turtles in need of help. While most finders are able to bring the turtles to us, there are often cases where transportation isn’t possible —and that’s where you come in!
We’re always seeking transport volunteers to assist with retrieving injured turtles and bringing them safely to our facility. Our busiest season runs from April through September, but we may reach out for help at any time throughout the year. We are especially in need of transport support in northern and western New Hampshire — but no matter where you are from, we'd love to have you join the Turtle Transport team!
Our team currently has the technical skills but not the eye for design. If you have expertise in graphic design and would like to help us with our website and educational materials, please reach out.
As we expand the organization, our non-profit can greatly benefit from legal guidance. Please reach out if this sounds of interest.
